IRB Group toll revenue rises 25 per cent to Rs 807 crore in August
MUMBAI, SEP 9 (TNT): IRB Group’s toll revenue rose by around 25 per cent year-on-year to Rs 807 crore in August 2026, compared with Rs 646 crore in the same month last year, the company said on Wednesday.
IRB Infrastructure Developers Deputy CEO Amitabh Murarka attributed the growth to sustained traffic across the group’s assets and tariff revisions implemented at the beginning of FY27.
He said the company expects the positive traffic trend to continue with economic activity and the festive season.
Project-wise, toll revenue on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and Old Mumbai-Pune Highway rose to Rs 172.1 crore in August from Rs 144.7 crore a year earlier, while revenue from the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway increased to Rs 80.3 crore from Rs 69.1 crore.
IRB Golconda Expressway, which operates the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road, recorded revenue of Rs 87.9 crore against Rs 73.7 crore in August 2025. IRB Lalitpur Tollway revenue rose to Rs 43.5 crore from Rs 36.1 crore.
Three newly reported assets — IRB Harihara Corridors, IRB Chandibhadra Tollway and Meerut Budaun Expressway — recorded August 2026 toll revenue of Rs 41.7 crore, Rs 20 crore and Rs 22.6 crore, respectively, with no corresponding figures reported for August 2025.
Across the 25 projects listed by the group, aggregate toll revenue stood at Rs 807.4 crore in August 2026, compared with Rs 646.2 crore in August 2025.
The IRB Group currently has 28 revenue-generating highway assets across 13 states, with approximately 1.5 million vehicle crossings a day, according to the company.
