AP MSME Minister inaugurates Skill Development Center at Coromandel in Kakinada
Kakinada, June 5 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Minister for Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME ) Kondapalli Srinivas inaugurated the state of the art AI based skill development center established by the Coromandel international at Vakalapudi on Friday .
The Minister said that it was the first center to be established in this region under the public-private partnership(PPP) mode.
He described the facility as the beginning of a transformative technology journey designed to prepare students for a rapidly evolving, AI driven future.
The initiative will enable rural youth and women to gain vital practical experience, making them globally competitive professionals’ he added.
Arun Alagappan Chairman of the Coromandel said that the center would run entirely on the sponsorship of their Group and soon develop into a dynamic and innovative learning hub.`
Our focus is on the overall development of the students, women and rural youth, preparing them comprehensively for AI-based careers’ Arun Alagappan remarked while expressing his gratitude to the district authorities and community leaders for their unstinted cooperation .
Kakinada rural MLA Pantham Nanaji, MLC Karri Padmasri, MLC Perabathula Rajasekhar attended as the guests of honour .
Coromandel’ s top officials including S. Sankar Subramanian, Managing director and CEO, Madhav Adhikari EVP and Business head, Arun Leslie George , CHRO.K. Satyanarayana , VP and head of Corporate communications, Jayagopal Chaturi , Head of CSR, M. Gnanasundaram, Vice president, K Jagannadhan unit head, PRO Varanasi Ravikumar were among those attended the event.
