Vice Prez Radhakrishnan offers prayers at Tiruchanur temple in Tirupati
Tirupati, Apr 28 (TNT): Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan, visited the Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor near here on Tuesday.
Upon his arrival at the temple, he was accorded a traditional Istikapal welcome by the temple priests.
He offered prayers at the Dwajasthambam and had darshan of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru.
Later, at the Asthana Mandapam, TTD Executive Officer M. Ravichandra presented Srivari prasadam and honoured him with Sesha Vastram.
Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani, TTD Board Member G. Bhanu Prakash Reddy, JEO V. Veerabrahmam, District Collector Venkateswarlu, District SP L. Subbarayudu, CVSO Muralikrishna, Tiruchanoor Temple Deputy EO Harindranath, and other officials were present.
