Telangana CM Revanth asks officials to expedite land acquisition for Musi project
Hyderabad, Aug 25 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday directed officials to expedite land acquisition for the Musi Rejuvenation Project and formulate a comprehensive land pooling policy, particularly covering lands under Full Tank Level (FTL), buffer zones and assigned land categories.
Reviewing the project at the MCRHRD Bodhi Pavilion here, the Chief Minister sought an update on the land acquisition process and stressed the need to avoid legal complications while acquiring land for the project.
He directed officials to finalise the land pooling policy and take necessary measures to speed up the acquisition process.
Revanth Reddy also instructed officials to invite tenders for Phase-II of the Musi project at the earliest.
The Chief Minister asked Municipal Commissioners to focus on securing low-interest loans for the project and directed them to review Transferable Development Rights (TDRs) every week.
The meeting also reviewed proposals to invite tenders for the Manchirevula Omkareshwara Swamy Temple and undertake publicity for the Kothwalguda Bird Park.
CM Secretary Manik Raj, HMDA Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed, GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan, Malkajgiri Municipal Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy, Cyberabad Commissioner Srujana, Ranga Reddy District Collector Narayana Reddy, Medchal Collector Manu Chowdary, MRDCL MD E V Narasimha Reddy, MRDCL JMD Gautami and other senior officials attended the meeting.
