TCS Denies Nida Khan Held HR Role; Sets Up Oversight Panel, Engages External Experts Over Nashik Case

Mumbai, Apr 17 (TNT): IT Major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Friday denied that Nida Khan held any HR role in the company, even as it announced a series of measures, including setting up an oversight panel and engaging external experts, in connection with the recent Nashik case in Maharashtra.

In a statement, TCS CEO and Managing Director K Krithivasan said the company has appointed expert teams from Deloitte and law firm Trilegal as independent counsel to support an internal investigation led by TCS President and COO Aarthi Subramanian.

An oversight committee has also been constituted, chaired by Independent Director Keki Mistry, to review the findings of the internal probe and oversee implementation of recommendations.

Clarifying media reports, TCS said Nida Khan, who has been mentioned in connection with the case, was neither an HR manager nor involved in recruitment, and had worked as a process associate without any leadership responsibilities.

The IT Giant also refuted reports claiming closure of its Nashik unit, stating that operations continue uninterrupted and services to clients remain unaffected.

TCS said a preliminary review of its systems and records has not revealed any complaints of the nature being alleged through its ethics or POSH channels, while detailed investigations are still underway.

Reiterating its commitment to employee welfare, the company said it maintains zero tolerance towards misconduct and is cooperating fully with law enforcement agencies to ensure a fair and transparent probe.
