RSM expands Hyderabad Operations, Doubles office space to 1 lakh Sq. ft.

Hyderabad, Oct 29 (TNT) : RSM US Integrated Services India Private Limited has expanded its Hyderabad operations by doubling its office space to 100,000 sq ft and increasing its workforce by nearly 150 per cent over the past three years, highlighting the city’s growing role in the company’s global capability centre (GCC) network.

RSM US Integrated Services India Private Limited is a subsidiary of RSM US LLP (RSM), the U.S. member firm of RSM International, a global network of independent assurance, tax and consulting firms.

The company on Thursday inaugurated its expanded office at Phoenix Equinox in Hyderabad to strengthen its specialised capabilities and support growing global operations across consulting, tax, assurance, technology, digital transformation, innovation and business operations.

The expansion provides additional capacity for integrated global teams and enables employees in Hyderabad to handle more complex assignments, while creating opportunities for specialised skills development and career growth, the company said.

Talking to reporters on the occasion, Ashokkumar Prabhakar, India Leader of RSM US Integrated Services India Private Limited, said Hyderabad’s talent pool and expanding technology ecosystem made it a natural choice for the company’s next phase of growth.

The new workplace features technology-enabled meeting and learning spaces, flexible work settings, sensor-based room management systems and dedicated wellness facilities.

The building is certified by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), the company said.

The expansion reflects RSM’s continued investment in talent, innovation and capability development in India, with its Hyderabad teams expected to play a greater role in supporting the firm’s global priorities.

He said the company had started operations in the city around 2022-23 with about 20 employees in a co-working space and had since doubled its office space as part of its rapid expansion.

Hyderabad was growing faster than the company’s other centres in India, where the workforce had increased by around 135 per cent over the same period, he said.

RSM had offices in Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, and was investing in people, office infrastructure and skilling, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), to strengthen its capabilities, he said.

Unlike traditional global capability centres (GCCs) that relocate jobs from overseas to India, RSM was a professional services firm providing audit, tax and consulting services to clients in the US and Canada, Prabhakar said.

RSM primarily served the US mid-market, comprising companies with annual revenues ranging from about USD 30 million to USD 5 billion, and focused on developing long-term relationships with such businesses, he said.

The company had completed 100 years of operations in the US in June this year, while its Indian operations combined the legacy and expertise of the century-old organisation with a startup mindset, he said.
