OHE failure between Secunderabad, Lalaguda stations; train services restored :SCR

Hyderabad, Sept 14 (TNT): South Central Railway (SCR) on Monday clarified that an Overhead Electrical Equipment (OHE) failure occurred between Secunderabad and Lalaguda stations at around 22.38 hours.

Railway officials immediately swung into action to restore the system following the reported tripping, SCR said in a release.

Both up and down trains are operating normally in the section, it said.

A few trains were detained or regulated for less than 10 minutes due to the incident and were subsequently restored to normal operations.

There was no casualty or injury to anyone, SCR clarified.

Train No. 12795 Vijayawada–Lingampalli Express, which was detained in the section, was being moved towards Secunderabad, the release added.
