Telangana CM Revanth Reddy attends INDIA bloc mock Parliament on CEC impeachment motion

New Delhi, Oct 31 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday participated in a mock Parliament convened by INDIA bloc leaders in New Delhi to deliberate on a motion seeking the impeachment of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

In a post on X, Revanth Reddy said the meeting was held at the residence of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and focused on upholding constitutional values, safeguarding the independence of democratic institutions and protecting the integrity of the electoral process.

The session was presided over by former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and attended by Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, and several INDIA bloc MPs and senior leaders, he said.
