BJP Telangana chief Ramchander Rao extends Vinayaka Chavithi greetings
Hyderabad, Sept 14 (TNT): Telangana BJP State President N Ramchander Rao on Monday extended Vinayaka Chavithi greetings to the people of the State and prayed for their peace, prosperity and well-being.
Participating in a special Vinayaka Puja at the BJP State office in Nampally, Rao prayed to Lord Ganesha for the prosperity of Telangana, happiness of farmers and health and well-being of every family in the State.
Rao said devotion towards Lord Ganesha continued to grow every year, with people participating in Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations in large numbers.
Hyderabad, in particular, had a glorious tradition of celebrating the festival and conducting Ganesh immersion processions on a grand scale, he said.
He said thousands of Ganesh mandals organise celebrations across Hyderabad and Telangana and urged the State Government, police, municipal authorities and other concerned departments to extend full cooperation to the mandals and devotees to ensure peaceful and smooth conduct of the festivities and immersion processions.
Rao also highlighted the close relationship between Ganesh Chaturthi and nature, saying traditional rituals and offerings made during Vinayaka Puja reflected people’s connection with the environment.
He appealed to devotees to celebrate the festival with devotion while remaining conscious of environmental protection.
Rao further prayed to Lord Ganesha to bless the Telangana Government with “Sadbuddhi” so that it governed in the interests of the people and worked sincerely for their welfare.
He wished the people of Telangana a joyful, peaceful and prosperous Vinayaka Chavithi.
