Lokesh Announces RGUKT-AP Provisional Selection List for 2026-27 Admissions

Amaravati, June 13 (TNT: Andhra Pradesh Education and Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh on Saturday announced the provisional selection list for admissions to the six-year integrated B.Tech programme at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT-AP) campuses for the academic year 2026-27.

In a post on X, Lokesh said admissions have been announced for the RGUKT campuses at Nuzvid, R.K. Valley, Ongole and Srikakulam.

According to the minister, a total of 44,104 applications were received for admission, out of which 4,040 students have been provisionally selected.

Highlighting the institution’s focus on inclusive education, Lokesh said that 96.7 per cent of the selected candidates are from government schools, reflecting RGUKT’s commitment to nurturing rural talent and expanding access to quality higher education for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The minister congratulated the selected students and wished them success in their academic journey.

Lokesh said the high representation of government school students in the selection list demonstrates the state government’s efforts to strengthen educational opportunities for rural and economically weaker sections of society.
