Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Blesses Devotees on Gaja Vahanam at Narayanavanam Brahmotsavams
Tirupati, June 2 (TNT): As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy was taken in a grand procession on Gaja Vahanam on Tuesday evening, adorned in the majestic Srinivasa Darbar Alankaram.
The Gaja Vahana Seva holds special spiritual significance, symbolising the Lord’s assurance of protection to His devotees.
The ritual commemorates the divine episode of Gajendra Moksham, in which Lord Mahavishnu rescued the elephant king Gajendra from danger, reaffirming His role as the protector of those who seek His refuge.
Thousands of devotees witnessed the colourful procession amid a deeply devotional atmosphere, offering prayers and seeking the blessings of the Lord.
According to the Brahmotsavam schedule, the deity will bless devotees on Surya Prabha Vahanam during the morning procession on June 3, followed by Chandra Prabha Vahanam in the evening.
Among those present were Tirumala Bokkasam In-charge Gururaja Swamy, Nagalapuram Temple Superintendent Srinivasulu Reddy, Temple Inspectors Nagaraju and Chengalrayulu, along with temple priests, officials, Srivari Sevaks and a large gathering of devotees.
