Gold Ornaments Worth Rs 33 Lakh Offered to Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy at Narayanavanam

Tirupati, June 2 (TNT): As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, gold ornaments worth approximately ₹33 lakh were presented to the presiding deity from the Tirumala temple.

The offerings included a two-layer gold necklace studded with Navaratna beads, Seema Kamalams, and a gold Lakshmi Kasula Mala.

The ornaments were formally handed over by Tirumala Temple Deputy Executive Officer Lokanatham to Narayanavanam Temple Deputy Executive Officer Nagaratna.

Following the handover, the ornaments were taken in a ceremonial procession and adorned to the deity after the performance of special religious rituals.

Among those present on the occasion were Tirumala Bokkasam In-charge Gururaja Swamy, Nagalapuram Temple Superintendent Srinivasulu Reddy, Temple Inspectors Nagaraju and Chengalrayulu, along with temple priests, officials, Srivari Sevaks and a large number of devotees.

The presentation of the ornaments formed a significant part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam celebrations, drawing participation from devotees and temple functionaries alike.
