Kakinada: Municipal outsourcing staff demand welfare schemes

Kakinada , Sept 12 (TNT): The Andhra Pradesh municipal engineering workers and employees joint action committee at its combined Godavari district meeting held here on Saturday has resolved demanding implementation of welfare schemes to all the Municipal outsourcing workers and employees uniformly.

It also demanded extending ESIC facility to all those drawing below Rs.30,000 monthly wage.

The meeting further demanded that the municipal engineering workers should be paid equal wages with the sanitary workers .

It also resolved to formulate a joint action plan to achieve their long pending demands.

State JAC honorary chairman Mahadev Ananda Rao, Chairman Pitta Mahesh babu , General secretary Relli Satyam, Treasurer Shaik Karimulla, JAC founder Bathula Siva Sankar, Standing committee chairman E . Madhu babu, standing committee vice chairman Parasa Buchibabu, Palika Satyanarayana, Anil, Venkatramaiah Sathish , Thomas and other leaders took part in the deliberations.
