Heartfulness to Attempt Multilingual Yoga World Record on International Yoga Day
Hyderabad, June 20 (TNT): The Heartfulness Institute will attempt a world record at its global headquarters, Kanha Shanti Vanam on the outskirts of Hyderabad, on the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 21.
The record attempt, under the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records, is for the “Maximum Languages Used in a Live-Streamed Yoga Session Simultaneously.”
As part of the initiative, the Common Yoga Protocol, a standardised 45-minute yoga sequence recommended by the Ministry of AYUSH, will be conducted in 25 languages, including 13 Indian and 12 international languages, across 13 timezone-staggered livestreams.
The event aims to demonstrate yoga’s ability to unite people across cultures, countries and traditions through a multilingual wellness experience led by trained Heartfulness instructors.
The programme will be followed by a felicitation ceremony to be conducted by Asia Book of Records adjudicator Dr. Vasudha Rani.
Representatives of the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records, along with Heartfulness volunteers and practitioners, will be present.
