AP District Collectors’ conference to be held on September 10, 11

AMARAVATI, SEP 9 (TNT): The eighth Andhra Pradesh District Collectors’ Conference will be held on September 10 and 11 at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, with focus on economic growth, welfare, human development, technology, investments and law and order.

The two-day conference will begin with a review of the Action Taken Report on decisions taken at the seventh Collectors’ Conference.

On the first day, discussions will focus on Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), district-level roadmaps for Swarna Andhra Vision, progress of the Super Six welfare schemes, drinking water, housing, healthcare, education and Ease of Doing Business.

The Jaladhara programme will also be reviewed, while Collectors from select districts will present best practices being implemented in their respective districts.

The second day will focus on e-governance, disposal of files, RTGS, the public grievance redressal platform, district-wise rankings, land administration and utilisation of Central government funds.

The Chief Minister will also review skill development, welfare measures for SCs, STs, BCs and minorities, law and order and other key issues, and issue directions to Collectors on effective implementation of government services and welfare and development programmes.
