Telangana BJP Chief Says Massive PM Rally Reflects BJP’s Growing Popularity

Hyderabad, May 11 (TNT): Telangana State BJP President N. Ramchander Rao,  on Monday said the massive turnout at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting at Secunderabad Parade Ground  on Sunday, reflected the growing popularity of the BJP in Telangana.

Addressing a press conference at the party’s state office here, Rao thanked the people of Telangana, party workers and the media for making the Prime Minister’s meeting a grand success.

He said the voluntary participation of large numbers of people at the rally during a non-election period demonstrated increasing public support for the BJP in the state.

Rao attributed the success of the event to the continuous efforts of party workers, organisational coordination and the commitment of BJP cadres.

The BJP leader said the presence of Swamijis from the Sadhu Samaj, women from Banjara and Lambadi communities, doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, lawyers, youth and women reflected support for the party across different sections of society.

He expressed confidence that political change in Telangana is becoming inevitable and said the BJP would emerge as a strong alternative under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

Criticising the Congress government in Telangana, Rao alleged that it was pursuing anti-people, anti-women and anti-youth policies despite coming to power on the promise of guarantees.

He said “Modi’s Guarantee” represents development, employment opportunities for youth and economic progress for Telangana.

The BJP state president also defended the ongoing voter list revision process, stating that it was being carried out under the supervision of the Election Commission of India to remove fake, duplicate and deceased voters without affecting genuine voters.

Rao further accused the Congress of encouraging communal politics and alleged that the government had failed to protect temples in the state.

He thanked party workers, citizens and media representatives once again, stating that public support for the BJP in Telangana continues to grow.
