New Delhi, May 4 (TNT): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Indian National Congress (Congress) and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Monday retained all seven Assembly seats in five States where bypolls were held on April 9 and 23.
According to official results, the BJP secured victories in four constituencies spread across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tripura and Nagaland.
The Congress won two seats in Karnataka, while the NCP retained one seat in Maharashtra.
The bypolls were conducted in multiple phases on April 9 and 23, with counting of votes taken up on Monday.
