Hyderabad, Apr 18 (TNT):: The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Telangana BC Gurukul Educational Institutions Society (MJPTBCWREIS) on Saturday announced that applications for admission into its residential degree colleges for the 2026–27 academic year will open from April 20.
In a release here, the Society Secretary Badugu Saidulu, IFS, stated that students who have passed Intermediate can apply online until May 10.
Candidates from MJP institutions should apply through their respective college principals, while others can submit applications via the official portals, said Saidulu.
Across Telangana, the society operates 30 degree colleges offering 31 courses, including B.Sc, B.Com, B.A, BBA, BFT, and specialised programmes such as Animation & VFX. A total of 9,260 seats are available.
Admissions will be based on Intermediate marks and course preference.
The institutions provide free accommodation, meals, and quality education, along with coaching for competitive exams from the first year. Placement support is also offered to students upon course completion.
Saidulu noted that students from these institutions have consistently secured good academic results and achieved recognition in sports at district, state, and national levels.
He urged parents to consider Gurukul institutions for their children’s higher education, highlighting the emphasis on discipline and overall development.
