Vaishnaw Reviews Production Processes, Skill Development Initiatives at Medha Bogies Factory in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, July 11 (TNT) : Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday interacted with engineers and manufacturing teams during his visit to Medha Bogies Factory in Hyderabad, where he reviewed the facility’s production capabilities and manufacturing processes.
Accompanied by Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy, Vaishnaw inspected various stages of railway coach and component manufacturing and held discussions with technical teams on production systems, quality control measures and capacity enhancement initiatives.
The Union Minister sought feedback from employees on their roles, technical training, skill development programmes and the adoption of modern manufacturing practices at the facility.
He also reviewed efforts being made to enhance workforce capabilities in line with the evolving requirements of railway manufacturing.
Appreciating the dedication and expertise of engineers and workers, Vaishnaw said a highly skilled workforce remains crucial for strengthening India’s railway manufacturing ecosystem and supporting advanced production capabilities.
The visit also included a review of manufacturing infrastructure, quality standards and ongoing initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and expanding production capacity at the facility.
