University of Hyderabad to award 1,721 degrees, 178 medals at convocation
Hyderabad, Sept 30 (TNT): The University of Hyderabad (UoH) will confer 1,721 degrees, including 300 Ph.D. degrees, and award 178 medals at its 26th convocation on Thursday.
The convocation will be held at the Global Peace Auditorium, Brahma Kumaris Shanti Sarovar, Gachibowli.
Dr Samir V. Kamat, former Chairman of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), will be the chief guest and deliver the convocation address.
Telangana Governor and UoH Chief Rector Shiv Pratap Shukla will present the medals to the awardees, while Justice L. Narasimha Reddy, Chancellor of the university, will preside over the event.
UoH Vice-Chancellor Prof. J. Anuradha will present the university report, outlining the institution’s achievements.
