TTD to Illuminate Tirupati Ahead of Navaratri Brahmotsavams

Tirupati, Oct 9 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making arrangements to illuminate Tirupati city ahead of the Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams scheduled at Tirumala from October 12 to 20.

TTD Joint Executive Officer A. Sarat, while reviewing the preparations through a Zoom meeting on Friday, directed officials to ensure adequate facilities for the expected increase in pilgrim arrivals during the festival holidays.

Special lighting arrangements will be made at TTD temples and buildings, major junctions, including Garuda Circle and Nandi Circle, and along roads leading from Tirupati to Alipiri.

LED arches, display boards and floodlights will be installed at key locations and parking areas.

The JEO instructed officials to ensure adequate parking, sanitation, medical services, drinking water, toilets, Annaprasadam, security, public address systems and signboards.

He emphasised coordination among departments to facilitate the smooth movement and comfort of pilgrims.

TTD Chief Engineer Manoharam, VGO Giridhar, Annaprasadam Deputy Executive Officer Selvam, Additional Health Officer Sunil Kumar, DE Ravishankar Reddy and other officials attended the meeting.
