AP: Two JNTUK Professors Figure in World’s Top 2% Scientists List
Kakinada, Oct 9 (TNT): Two professors of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) have been featured in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list for 2026, jointly published by Stanford University and Elsevier.
JNTUK Registrar Prof. Rayapudi Srinivasarao and Institute of Science and Technology (IST) Director Prof. Battula Tirumala Krishna secured places in the global list for the fifth and third consecutive years, respectively, the University said in a release on Friday.
Prof. Srinivasarao has featured in the list from 2022 to 2026, while Prof. Tirumala Krishna has been recognised consecutively from 2024 to 2026.
In the 2026 rankings, Prof. Srinivasarao secured 6,057th position in the energy category, while Prof. Tirumala Krishna ranked 7,551st in the information and communication technology category.
JNTUK Vice-Chancellor Prof. P.S.R.K. Prasad, along with the university’s teaching and non-teaching staff, congratulated the two professors on the recognition.
