TTD makes arrangements for Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja in Palamaneru
Tirupati, Aug 13 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) JEO Dr A Sharath on Thursday directed officials to complete all arrangements for the Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja to be held at the SVCR Government Junior College premises in Palamaneru on August 14.
The JEO, along with local MLA and former Minister N Amarnath Reddy, inspected the arrangements and directed various departments to coordinate closely for the smooth conduct of the programme.
Facilities are being arranged for thousands of devotees, including spacious shelters, mats, Deepa Puja materials, Annaprasadam distribution centres, drinking water, LED screens and temporary toilets.
The TTD Electrical and Garden departments have been instructed to illuminate and decorate the venue with floral arrangements to create a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere for devotees.
Amarnath Reddy said the arrangements should facilitate devotion and spiritual awareness among devotees and stressed the need to maintain a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere at the venue.
The Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) will telecast the Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja live from 1800 hours on August 14, Dr Sharath said.
HDPP Secretary Dr Medasani Mohan, DEs Saraswathi and Sarvesh, AE Chandramouli, SVBC CPO and other officials participated in the inspection.
