IndiGo announces Independence Day sale with up to 20 pc discount
New Delhi, Aug 13 (TNT): IndiGo on Thursday announced its ‘Happy Independence Day Sale’, offering up to 20 per cent discount on base fares for non-stop domestic and international flights.
The offer is valid on bookings made between August 13 and 16, 2026, for travel between August 16 and October 31, 2026, the airlines said in a release here.
Customers are required to book at least three days in advance and use the promo code INDIGO80 while booking through IndiGo’s website, mobile application, AI-powered assistant 6Eskai or select travel partner platforms.
The airline is also offering up to 20 per cent discounts on select ancillary products and services, including 6E Eats, Fast Forward and 6E Seats.
Fare Hold is available from Rs 20, while IndiGo UpFront upgrades start at Rs 999. Fare Hold and UpFront offers are available exclusively through IndiGo’s direct booking channels.
IndiGo BluChip members can also earn up to 20,000 IndiGo BluChips on IndiGoStretch bookings made through direct channels for travel between August 24 and September 30, 2026.
The airline said the sale, launched as part of Independence Day celebrations, was aimed at making air travel more accessible and affordable while enabling customers to explore destinations across India and abroad.
IndiGo operates a fleet of more than 430 aircraft and nearly 2,200 daily flights, connecting over 95 domestic and 40 international destinations. It carried more than 123 million customers in FY26, according to the airline.
