TTD Launches ‘Akshara Govindam–Annaprasanam’ Programme at Sri Vakulamatha Temple
Trupati, July 3 (TNT): The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Friday launched the ‘Akshara Govindam–Annaprasanam’ programme at Sri Vakulamatha Temple in Tirupati, marking a spiritual initiative to bless children at the beginning of their education and life.
TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu and Executive Officer M. Ravichandra inaugurated the programme, offered blessings to the participating children and distributed Akshara Govindam Kits free of cost.
The kits contain educational and devotional material aimed at nurturing spiritual values alongside learning.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman appealed to Hindu families to make use of the initiative, describing it as a unique opportunity to commence a child’s educational journey with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
Later, the Chairman and EO inaugurated a newly constructed Pilgrim Amenities Complex at the temple, built at a cost of ₹2 crore, to enhance facilities for devotees.
Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani, TTD Board members, Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP) Secretary Dr. Medasani Mohan, senior TTD officials, devotees, children and their parents attended the programme.
