TTD Advises Devotees Not to Trust Middlemen for Darshan, Accommodation

Tirumala, June 25 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Thursday cautioned devotees against falling prey to middlemen and brokers who falsely promise Srivari darshan or accommodation in Tirumala in return for money.

In a statement, TTD said it was taking stringent action against brokers who mislead devotees and exploit their faith by offering unauthorized darshan and accommodation arrangements.

The temple body urged devotees to immediately lodge complaints through its toll-free helpline number 155257 if anyone approaches them claiming to provide darshan or accommodation on payment.

TTD warned that strict legal action would be initiated against those found cheating devotees in the name of Lord Venkateswara Swamy.

The Devasthanams also clarified that reports circulating on social media regarding senior citizen darshan are misleading and baseless.

It stated that an online quota of 1,000 tickets for senior citizens and differently-abled devotees is released daily, three months in advance. The special darshan facility for senior citizens and physically challenged devotees is available every day from 3 p.m. through the designated entry point near Tirumala Nambi Temple.

TTD advised devotees to rely only on official sources for information relating to darshan, accommodation and other services.

For authentic information, devotees have been requested to visit the official TTD websites:  www.tirumala.org and https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in.
