Tirumala, Apr 24 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary reviewed Srivari Seva activities at a meeting held at the Padmavathi Guest House, here on Friday.
The review focused on improving the functioning of Srivari Seva volunteers, including duty allocation at various locations, training on service protocols for devotees and ensuring proper coordination between departments and volunteers.
The Additional EO directed officials to collect feedback from volunteers after completion of their service and resolve issues promptly.
He also called for the introduction of a transparent system to rate volunteer performance based on efficiency and effectiveness.
A decision was taken to establish a centralised grievance cell with a dedicated helpline for immediate redressal of complaints from volunteers. Departments were instructed to clearly define responsibilities and ensure optimal utilisation of volunteer services.
Among other measures, the meeting discussed organising satsang and orientation programmes with participation of noted musicians and spiritual speakers to promote discipline and service-mindedness among volunteers.
Officials also proposed installation of signboards in high pilgrim influx areas to spread awareness on code of conduct and spiritual values.
Plans were outlined to set up a ‘Healing Center’ to promote mental well-being of devotees, volunteers and staff.
The Additional EO further directed officials to explore engaging retired senior officers and bureaucrats as supervisors under the Srivari Seva system.
The meeting was attended by senior officials including CPRO T. Ravi, Deputy EOs, estate and IT officials, medical staff and other department representatives.
