Toyota Kirloskar Motor launches Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition
Bengaluru, Aug 12 (TNT): Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Wednesday announced the launch of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition, a limited-edition SUV featuring black-themed exterior styling and sporty design elements.
The Aero Black Edition styling package is priced at Rs 31,999 and is available across the Midnight Black G and V grades in both Neo Drive and Strong Hybrid variants, the company said in a release here.
It will be offered for a limited period, subject to availability.
The special edition features black exterior enhancements including front grille upper garnish, front spoiler, headlamp garnish, tailgate garnish, rear spoiler and an exclusive Aero Black Limited Edition badge.
Since its launch in 2022, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has crossed the two-lakh sales milestone in India, according to the company.
The Hyryder is offered with two powertrain options — self-charging strong hybrid electric and Neo Drive. The strong hybrid version has an e-drive transmission and delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97 km per litre, while the Neo Drive range is powered by a 1.5-litre K-series engine with manual and automatic transmission options as well as 2WD and 4WD configurations.
The SUV comes with features including twin LED DRLs, a Crystal Acrylic Grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, ventilated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera.
TKM said the vehicle comes with a three-year/100,000-km warranty, extendable up to five years/220,000 km, along with an eight-year/160,000-km warranty on the hybrid system.
Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business & Profit Enhancement, TKM, said the Aero Black Edition was aimed at offering a more expressive and youthful design identity while enhancing the Hyryder’s premium appeal and road presence.
