Tirupati : Grand Laksha Kumkumarchana held at Kapileswara Swamy Temple
Tirupati, Sept 11 (TNT): A grand Laksha Kumkumarchana was performed to Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru at the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati on the last Friday of the holy Sravana month.
As part of the ritual, Sri Mahalakshmi Ammavaru, Sri Saraswathi Ammavaru and Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru were consecrated at the temple mandapam.
The rituals commenced with Kalasha Sthapana, Ganapathi Puja, Punyahavachanam and Kalasharadhana, followed by the Kumkumarchana.
Temple Deputy EO Ms. Nagaratna, Superintendent Chandrasekhar, other officials, archakas and a large number of devotees participated in the programme.
