Tirupati : FLORAL TRIBUTE PAID TO MATRUSRI TARIGONDA VENGAMAMBA
Tirupati, Aug 21 (TNT): As part of the 209th death anniversary celebrations of saint-poet Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba, Special Officer of the Tarigonda Vengamamba Project, Dr. Vema Venkata Ratnam, paid floral tributes to her statue at M.R. Palli Circle in Tirupati on Friday.
As part of the second-day celebrations, a music concert by Annamacharya Project artistes was held at Annamacharya Kala Mandir .
A Harikatha performance will be held from 6 pm.
Vengamamba Project AEO Ms Aruna Kumari, Superintendent Ms N. Suseela, other officials and staff participated in the programme
