Tiruchanoor Temple Witnesses Large Participation in Arjita Sevas

Tirupati, June 18 (TNT): Various Arjita Sevas performed at the renowned Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple continue to attract thousands of devotees seeking the blessings of Goddess Padmavathi for prosperity, good health and spiritual well-being.

Located about five kilometres from Tirupati, the ancient temple is regarded as one of the most visited pilgrimage centres in the region after the Tirumala shrine.

Temple authorities said more than 200 festivals, rituals and poojas are conducted annually at the temple, including daily, weekly, monthly and annual observances prescribed in sacred texts such as Padma Samhita and Naradiya Samhita.

The rituals are performed in accordance with the Pancharatra Agama tradition, which governs the conduct of worship and temple ceremonies.

Officials noted that, similar to the Tirumala temple where over 450 festivals are observed each year, the Tiruchanoor shrine maintains a rich calendar of religious events and Arjita Sevas throughout the year.

Devotees from across the country and abroad participate in the sevas to seek divine blessings and spiritual solace, temple authorities said.

They advised devotees attending the sevas to follow the prescribed dress code and arrive well ahead of the scheduled timings to complete security and entry formalities.

Arjita Seva tickets can be booked through the official TTD portal or obtained at temple counters, subject to availability, officials added.
