Telangana Intelligence SP Jagadishwar Reddy Conferred President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service
Hyderabad, Aug 14 (TNT): Telangana State Intelligence Department SP R. Jagadishwar Reddy has been awarded the prestigious President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on the occasion of Independence Day.
The award recognises his long and dedicated service, particularly in the field of intelligence.
Born on June 10, 1969, R. Jagadishwar Reddy is the son of R. Gopal Reddy and is currently serving as SP in the Telangana Intelligence Department, Hyderabad.
During his career, he has received several awards in recognition of his dedicated service and professional excellence, include the Kathina Seva Pathakam (2005), Uttama Seva Pathakam (2009), Chief Minister’s Gallantry Medal (2011), Antarik Suraksha Pathakam (2014), Indian Police Medal (2017) and Mahonnata Seva Pathakam (2021). He was also honoured by the CBI for his role in apprehending a terrorist in 2006.
His service record includes 85 commendation entries, eight appreciation certificates and two special commendations, reflecting his sustained contribution to the police department.
Intelligence ADGP Vijay Kumar, IPS, and other senior officers congratulated Jagadishwar Reddy on being conferred the President’s Police Medal and appreciated his contributions to the department.
