GITAM Hyderabad Welcomes Freshers with ‘CELESTIA 2026’
Hyderabad, Aug 14(TNT): GITAM School of Technology, Hyderabad, hosted its Fresher’s Party ‘CELESTIA 2026’ on Thursday, welcoming the 2026-27 batch of engineering students with a vibrant celebration featuring music, dance, entertainment and cultural activities.
The event provided an opportunity for freshers to interact with their seniors and peers, build new friendships and become part of the GITAM community.
The campus came alive with cultural performances, games, music and other activities, creating a festive atmosphere.
A major highlight of the celebrations was the ramp walk, where the freshers showcased their confidence, personality and style.
The event culminated with the crowning of Mr Fresher and Ms Fresher, who were felicitated by GITAM leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries appreciated the student organisers for creating an engaging platform for the new students.
They said the event not only provided freshers an opportunity to showcase their talents but also helped foster team spirit, friendship, confidence and a sense of belonging to the GITAM community.
The celebrations concluded on a joyful note, with the freshers expressing gratitude to their seniors and organisers for giving them a memorable beginning to their academic journey at GITAM.
