Telangana Govt Committed to Development of Education, Healthcare and Spirituality: Dy CM Bhatti

Mancherial, June 13 (TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday said the Congress-led state government is according top priority to the development of education, healthcare and spirituality while pursuing inclusive growth across Telangana.

Speaking after laying the foundation stone for development works at the renowned Guddemgutta Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Temple in Mancherial Assembly constituency, Bhatti said the government was committed to strengthening both spiritual infrastructure and public welfare initiatives.

The programme was attended by Ministers D. Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar and Adluri Laxman Kumar, along with public representatives and officials.

Recalling a public meeting held at Pippiri to mark the third anniversary of the completion of the People’s March Padayatra, the Deputy Chief Minister said the demand for development of the Guddemgutta temple was raised during the event.

He noted that funds were sanctioned within 37 days of the request, reflecting the government’s commitment and administrative efficiency.

Bhatti announced that the temple would be developed into a major spiritual destination with an investment of nearly ₹70 crore.

He said the government has taken several significant decisions over the past two-and-a-half years for the advancement of spiritual and social sectors in the state.

According to him, ₹2,216 crore has been sanctioned for the development and rejuvenation of temples across Telangana during this period.

Referring to the successful conduct of Saraswati Pushkaralu under the leadership of Minister Sridhar Babu, Bhatti said the government has also allocated ₹1,000 crore for the forthcoming Godavari Pushkaralu to create infrastructure and develop bathing ghats and other facilities for devotees.

MLAs Prem Sagar Rao, Raj Thakur, Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna and several other public representatives participated in the programme.
