Telangana DY CM Bhatti Felicitates Mountaineer Moti Kumar for Reaching Everest Base Camp
Hyderabad, June 8 (TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Monday congratulated young mountaineer Moti Kumar for successfully reaching the Everest Base Camp, one of the world’s most challenging high-altitude trekking destinations.
Bhatti praised Moti Kumar for displaying the flag of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) at the Everest Base Camp, located at an altitude of approximately 5,364 metres above sea level.
During a meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister, Moti Kumar presented a photograph of himself holding the SCCL flag at the base camp.
Bhatti lauded the young adventurer’s achievement and expressed hope that he would scale even greater heights in the future, bringing pride to Telangana and the nation.
The Deputy Chief Minister encouraged him to continue pursuing his mountaineering ambitions and wished him success in his future expeditions.
During the interaction, Moti Kumar briefed the Deputy Chief Minister about his mountaineering accomplishments, including successful expeditions to Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Elbrus.
He said his next objective is to summit Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, and that he is currently undergoing intensive training in preparation for the expedition.
The meeting was attended by Singareni Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Jyoti Buddha Prakash and other officials.
