Telangana CS Reviews Industrial Projects at eCity, Mankhal, Maheshwaram
Hyderabad, July 27 (TNT): Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay JajuĀ on Monday visited the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (eCity), Industrial Park at Mankhal and General Park at Maheshwaram, outskirts of Hyderabad, to review the progress of industrial units and manufacturing facilities.
At eCity, accompanied by TGIIC Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Secretary to Government, Executive Director and other officials,Ā the Chief Secretary inspected the manufacturing facility of Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited, which has established a solar PV module unit on 25 acres with an investment of Rs 1,240 crore, providing employment to 1,200 persons.
The delegation also visited Avantel Limited, a defence electronics and satellite systems manufacturer spread over four acres, with an investment of Rs 59.22 crore and employment for 400 persons.
During the visit to the Industrial Park at Mankhal, the Chief Secretary reviewed the operations of Chiripal Poly Films Limited, which has established a BOPP/BOPET film manufacturing facility, including coating, metallising, slitting and recycling units, on 29.87 acres.
The company has invested Rs 284.02 crore in the project, which is currently in commercial production and provides employment to 500 persons.
At Maheshwaram General Park, the Chief Secretary visited Wipro Enterprises (P) Limited, which has set up a manufacturing unit on 30 acres with an investment of Rs 174.34 crore and employment for 331 persons.
The Chief Secretary also inspected Malabar Gems and Jewellery Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd., which has established a state-of-the-art gems and jewellery manufacturing facility on 3.7 acres with an investment of Rs 374.05 crore. The unit is in commercial operation and provides employment to 2,782 persons.
