Grand Granthi Pavitra Samarpana Performed at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple
Tirupati, July 27 (TNT): The annual Pavitrotsavams at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati continued with religious fervour on Monday, with the Granthi Pavitra Samarpana ritual being performed in a grand manner amid Vedic chanting and traditional temple music.
The day’s rituals commenced with Suprabhata Seva, followed by Pavitra Abhishekam to the presiding deity. Subsequently, Nitya Homam, Granthi Pavitra Samarpana, and other special rituals to Lord Kapileswara Swamy were conducted in accordance with Agama traditions.
A large number of devotees participated in the sacred ceremonies and offered prayers, seeking the blessings of Lord Kapileswara Swamy.
Special pujas, homam, and Laghu Poornahuti are scheduled to be performed at the Yagasala during the evening as part of the ongoing festivities.
Temple Deputy Executive Officer Smt. Nagaratna, Superintendent Sri Chandrasekhar, temple priests, officials, staff, and devotees participated in the religious programme.
