Telangana CM Revanth extends Rakhi greetings to women of Telangana
Hyderabad, Aug 27 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday extended greetings to women across the state on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima.
In a message, the Chief Minister wished the people to celebrate Rakhi, which symbolises the bond between brothers and sisters, with joy and happiness.
He hoped that every household in the state would be blessed with happiness, prosperity and good health.
Revanth said the People’s Government was working towards economically empowering women and transforming them into ‘crorepatis’.
He said the government had already launched several welfare schemes and development programmes as part of its objective to empower one crore women and make them financially self-reliant.
