Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Takes Mohini Avatar During Appalayagunta Brahmotsavams
Tirupati, June 29 (TNT): Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy blessed devotees in the divine Mohini Avatar atop the Pallaki Vahanam on Monday morning as part of the annual Brahmotsavams at Appalayagunta temple near Tirupati.
Thousands of devotees participated in the procession, offering camphor harathi and chanting “Govinda” as the deity was taken in a ceremonial procession through the temple streets.
As part of the day’s rituals, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
The temple will conduct Unjal Seva from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., followed by the Garuda Vahanam procession at 7.30 p.m., considered the highlight of the annual Brahmotsavams.
TTD Deputy Executive Officer Harindranath, Assistant Executive Officer Devarajulu, Superintendent Srivani, Temple Inspector Venugopal, priests, Srivari Sevaks and a large number of devotees participated in the festivities.
