Sreevani to Celebrate 500th Issue Milestone in Vijayawada on Aug. 8
Vijayawada, Aug. 6 (TNT): Telugu literary magazine Sreevani will celebrate the publication of its 500th issue with a grand function at Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kalakshetram here on Saturday.
Sreevani, founded by late Komaragiri Krishnamohana Rao in January 1985, has completed a four-decade literary, spiritual and cultural journey and is reaching the milestone of its 500th issue in August 2026.
The main programme will commence at 10.35 a.m. and will feature a video presentation on the literary journey of Sreevani and a short film on the life and literary contributions of its founder, Komaragiri Krishnamohana Rao.
Former Chief Justice of India Justice N.V. Ramana, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Managing Trustee R.J. Rathnakar, Odisha Governor Kambhampati Haribabu, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) and Andhra Pradesh Minister Kollu Ravindra are among the dignitaries expected to attend the celebrations and address the gathering.
Several eminent literary personalities, writers, readers and well-wishers of Sreevani are also expected to participate in the event.
The organisers have appealed to literary enthusiasts and admirers of Sreevani to participate in large numbers and make the 500th issue celebrations a success.
