Smytten Expands Offline Presence with Eighth Experiential Store in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, June 25 (TNT): Smytten, a product discovery and trial platform, on Thursday announced the launch of its eighth experiential retail store in Hyderabad as part of its omnichannel expansion strategy.
Located in Kukatpally, the new outlet introduces the company’s ‘World of MINIS’ concept to consumers in the city and offers access to more than 400 brands across beauty, grooming, personal care, wellness and lifestyle categories, the company said in a release here.
The store features products from brands including The Derma Co, Pilgrim, Dot & Key, mCaffeine, Renee and Just Herbs, enabling consumers to discover, sample and experience products before making purchase decisions.
According to the company, the ‘World of MINIS’ format has been developed in collaboration with brand partners through curated product selections, sampling programmes, co-branded activations and strategic partnerships.
The Hyderabad outlet marks another step in Smytten’s expansion across South India. The company said it plans to further strengthen its retail footprint in key markets including Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Hubballi and Bengaluru.
Unlike conventional retail formats, Smytten’s stores operate on a “Try Before You Buy” model, allowing consumers to experience products before purchasing them.
The Hyderabad store integrates technology-enabled features such as QR-based product discovery, digital surveys, interactive smart mirrors, digital displays and AI-powered consumer analytics to enhance customer engagement and personalise the shopping experience.
Commenting on the launch, Smytten Chief Retail Officer Krishan Sharma said the company aims to make product discovery more accessible and risk-free by enabling consumers to experience products firsthand before making a purchase.
He said the growing offline presence would help consumers make informed choices while providing brand partners with opportunities for direct product trials and consumer engagement.
