Retired IRS Officer Vemula Sreekar Appointed Member of Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal
Hyderabad, June 28 (TNT): The Telangana Government has appointed retired Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Vemula Sreekar as the Technical/Administrative Member of the Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (TGREAT).
The appointment was notified through G.O. issued by the Metropolitan Area and Urban Development (Plg.III) Department on June 27 under the provisions of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, and the Telangana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017.
According to the government order, Sreekar has been appointed under Section 46(3) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, read with Rule 26 of the Telangana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017.
The government said the tenure, salary, allowances and other terms and conditions of service of the Technical/Administrative Member will be governed by the provisions of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, and the Telangana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017.
The order, issued in the name of the Governor of Telangana, was signed by Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan.
