Hyderabad, Apr 28 (TNT): A controversy has erupted after a man identified as Nikhil Yadav allegedly filmed a social media reel in a police uniform at the Secretariat entrance, raising serious security concerns.
In the video, which was posted on Instagram, Nikhil is seen claiming that anyone wishing to meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy could contact him directly.
The clip quickly gained attention after it was highlighted by the media platforms, promting a response from senior officials.
Authorities stated that there is currently no confirmation that Nikhil is part of the Secretariat security staff or even an authorised police officer.
An inquiry has been launched to establish his identity and credentials.
Officials are also investigating how he managed to gain access beyond the Secretariat gate, who permitted his entry, the exact time the video was recorded, and which personnel were on duty at the time.
Sources indicated that strict legal action will be taken against Nikhil for filming and making statements that potentially violate established protocols.
Authorities added that disciplinary action will also be initiated against any officials or staff found responsible for allowing such a video to be shot within the high-security Secretariat premises.
