Rangareddy Raptors, Nalgonda Speed Strikers, Vikarabad Mambas Register Wins in Telangana Jr. Basketball League
Hyderabad, June 21 (TNT): Rangareddy Raptors, Nalgonda Speed Strikers and Vikarabad Mambas emerged victorious in their respective matches on Day Two of the Telangana Junior Basketball League (TJBL) being held at the Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda.
The league, which has brought together young basketball talent from across Telangana, will continue until June 28 with matches being played daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
In the Under-18 Girls category, Rangareddy Raptors registered a comprehensive 56-28 victory over Warangal Stallions.
Nalgonda Speed Strikers dominated Nizam Royals in the Under-15 Boys category, securing a 76-60 win.
Vikarabad Mambas also enjoyed a successful outing, defeating Hyderabad Hurricanes 47-24 in the Under-18 Girls category before overcoming Warangal Stallions 73-61 in the Under-18 Boys division.
The tournament has witnessed enthusiastic participation from players, coaches, franchise owners and basketball enthusiasts, reflecting the growing popularity of the sport in Telangana.
The league will continue on Monday with four matches scheduled across various categories. Warangal Stallions will take on Rangareddy Raptors in the Under-15 Girls category at 5 p.m., followed by the Under-15 Boys Pool A clash between Vikarabad Mambas and Nalgonda Speed Strikers at 6 p.m.
Nizam Royals will face Hyderabad Hurricanes in the Under-18 Girls category at 7 p.m., while Rangareddy Raptors will meet Warangal Stallions in the Under-15 Boys category at 8 p.m.
