President Murmu Confers AVSM on Lt Gen Neeraj Vishney for Distinguished Service
Hyderabad, June 30 (TNT): President of India Droupadi Murmu conferred the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) upon Lt Gen Neeraj Vashney, VSM, Commandant, Military College of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) & Colonel Commandant, Corps of EME, during the Defence Investiture Ceremony Phase-II at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.
The award is a testament to Gen Varshney’s exceptional leadership, distinguished service and unwavering commitment to the Nation as well as a proud moment for MCEME & Corps of EME, a defence release said here.
The honour is also a matter of pride for MCEME and the Corps of EME, acknowledging their contribution to the operational readiness and technical excellence of the Indian Army.
