Hyderabad, Apr 30 (TNT): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Telangana on May 10, marking his first trip to the state after assuming office for a third term.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth approximately ₹7,823 crore, spanning railways, highways and energy infrastructure, according to Union coal Minister G Kishan Reddy.
Key projects include the third railway line between Kazipet and Vijayawada, estimated at ₹1,243 crore, and major highway works in Mahabubnagar district worth around ₹3,175 crore.
He will also inaugurate a petroleum products hub valued at ₹611 crore and new railway stations at Hafeezpet and Jogulamba.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to address a public meeting, titled “Janagraha Sabha,” at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on the afternoon of May 10, said Kishan Reddy.
The visit aims to accelerate infrastructure development in the state while also strengthening the party’s outreach in Telangana.
