Nara Lokesh, Singapore Minister K. Shanmugam Offer Prayers at Tirumala

Tirumala, Sept 29 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh and Singapore Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple on Tuesday morning.

Lokesh welcomed Shanmugam, who arrived in Tirumala on Monday night, and accompanied him to the temple for darshan, extending traditional honours.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and temple priests accorded a welcome to the two ministers.

Following the darshan, Vedic scholars blessed them with Aashirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam and presented them with theertha prasadam.

Earlier on Monday night, local TDP public representatives and party leaders welcomed Minister Nara Lokesh upon his arrival at Tirupati Airport.
