Amaravati, Apr 18 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday held talks with farmers from the capital region on the second phase of land pooling.
The meeting included farmers from Tadikonda and Pedakurapadu constituencies, where key issues related to land pooling were discussed.
Naidu announced an annual annuity of ₹40,000 per acre for farmers who part with land under the second phase, to be paid for ten years.
He also said the annuity would be increased by ₹3,000 every year.
In a relief measure, the Chief Minister agreed to waive agricultural loans up to ₹1.5 lakh per family.
