IACC hosts inaugural Digital Infrastructure Summit in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Sept 25 (TNT): The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) on Friday hosted its inaugural Digital Infrastructure Summit 2026 in Hyderabad, bringing together more than 100 business, technology and policy leaders to discuss India’s digital infrastructure requirements for the next phase of AI and digital growth.
Organised by the IACC Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Branch with CtrlS Datacenters as the Presenting Partner, the summit focused on building robust, secure and scalable digital infrastructure and strengthening collaboration among industry, government and financial institutions.
IACC Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chairperson Dr Sreedevi Devireddy said next-generation infrastructure would play a key role in India’s digital transformation, with focus on data centres, Global Capability Centres, cybersecurity and secure AI-ready technologies.
The inaugural session featured a theme address by Srikanth Badiga, Group Director, Phoenix Group, Chairman of SEZEPC under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Director, NEC, IACC.
Chandra Shekhar Sarma G, CISO and Director of Compliance at CtrlS Datacenters, delivered the opening keynote on infrastructure security, while former IACC National President and Global Infovision Managing Director S Purnachandra Rao delivered a special address.
US Consul General in Hyderabad Laura Williams, who attended the summit as Guest of Honour, highlighted opportunities for greater technology and trade cooperation between India and the US.
Williams said initiatives including Mission 500, COMPACT, TRUST and Pax Silica could create opportunities for investment, supply-chain partnerships and market access in Telangana and across South India.
CtrlS Datacenters CISO and Director of Compliance Chandra Shekhar Sarma said India’s digital transformation was entering a defining phase, with digital infrastructure evolving from an enabler into a foundation of the digital economy.
The summit featured a keynote by CtrlS Datacenters CIO Anil Nama on “The Future of India’s AI & Cloud Landscape” and a session by Vivifi India Finance Managing Director Anil Pinapala on “The Build & Scale Journey”.
Two strategic panel discussions focused on AI and digital infrastructure capital, and resilience, reliability, security and green transformation in the digital economy.
The first panel, moderated by Mahanim India Co-founder and CEO Varma Konala, discussed ecosystem development, venture capital and local scaling, with participation from Bharat Innovation Fund Co-founder and General Partner Shyam Menon, CtrlS Datacenters President-Global Datacenter Operations Rahul Dhar and Agrani Labs Vice-President-Software Engineering Padmini Gopalakrishnan.
The second panel, moderated by CtrlS Datacenters Executive Vice-President-Service Delivery Srini Reddy, examined clean power, sustainability and cybersecurity in hyperscale data centres.
The panel included Greenko Group Chief Sustainability Officer Dr Paravastu Rambabu, EY Partner-Cybersecurity Krishna Sastry Pendyala and Bajaj Electronics CTO Annapurna Kuchibhatla.
