Hyderabad Traffic Diversions Announced for Skywalk Construction at Mehdipatnam
Hyderabad, May 24 (TNT): Hyderabad Traffic Police on Sunday issued a traffic advisory in view of Skywalk construction works near Mehdipatnam Rythu Bazar and CCTV camera pole erection works on the PVNR Expressway during the night of May 24 and early hours of May 25.
Traffic diversions and alternative routes will be in force from 4 pm on May 24 till 6 am on May 25 to ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid congestion.
Traffic Diversions
- Traffic coming from Masab Tank, NMDC and Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital towards Rethibowli and Nanal Nagar will be diverted at PVNR Expressway Pillars No. 2 and 3 near Azizia Mosque via Meraj Café towards Mehdipatnam at Pillar No. 15 before merging into the regular route.
- Traffic coming from Tolichowki, Langer Houz and Attapur via Nanal Nagar and Rethibowli towards Masab Tank will be diverted at PVNR Expressway Pillar No. 23 through a U-turn to the opposite carriageway and allowed to merge back near Pillars No. 4 and 5.
- Vehicles travelling from Masab Tank towards Rajiv Gandhi International Airport will be diverted at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital towards the Laxminagar Ramp near Pillar No. 77.
- Traffic coming from RGIA towards Mehdipatnam will be diverted via the Laxminagar Ramp near Pillar No. 88. Vehicles will be allowed to exit through designated down ramps depending on work progress on the PVNR Expressway.
The traffic police appealed to commuters to plan travel accordingly, use alternate routes and cooperate with officials to avoid inconvenience.
